The Best Fit Arts Advisory Board (AAB) is a collective of visual and performing arts professionals with years of experience as practitioners and educators. When we see a student or institution with a specific need, we connect them to an AAB expert who can move their career, education, or institution forward. Meet Jesse Damazo
Jesse Damazo is a filmmaker, media artist, and educator based in Los Angeles. He has worked for more than 10 years in higher education and more than eight years in higher education admissions including teaching film at the University of Iowa and serving as film admissions counselor at CalArts.
Jesse and fellow BFE Arts Advisory Board member Sinah Ober have created a Portfolio Film Development Course to help students create and develop films that will help their film portfolios stand out. Students not only end up with a polished film they can be proud of, but they will also gain valuable skills and learn about themselves as an artist.
