Nicki Voss

CONTEMPORARY VISUAL & TEXTILE ARTIST

Nicki Voss is a contemporary visual and textile artist based in Los Angeles. Her work in fabric is characterized by a fascination with geography, geometry, and color. In 2022, Voss was selected for the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture Artist Roster. She is the owner of and designer for Textilepop, an artist manufacturing studio of contemporary art quilts inspired by iconic landscapes and the outdoors.

Textilepop received a California Dream Fund grant in 2022 to support entrepreneurship. It is a Los Angeles County registered Community Business Enterprise – Women Business Enterprise and has received the State of California Small Business (SB) certification. Nicki is faculty at Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. In addition, she is a contract instructor for the City of Santa Clarita where she teaches sewing to members of the community.

Nicki holds a Design and Technology Diploma from Richmond Upon Thames College in the UK and is a graduate of California Institute of the Arts, with BFA and MFA degrees from the School of Art.
