Martin Glicklich
FLUTIST
Martin Glicklich has enjoyed success as an educator, soloist, conductor, chamber and orchestral musician, arranger, and director. A native of Los Angeles, Martin has played in most of the orchestras in Southern California, including the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra.
Working in many musical genres and styles, Martin has also collaborated with a variety of performing artists including Neil Diamond, Harry Connick Jr., and Marvin Hamlisch. In addition Martin can also be heard on over 40 motion picture soundtracks. A dedicated teacher, Martin has had students accepted to the Colburn Conservatory, Thornton School of Music at USC, Herb Albert School of Music at UCLA, Manhattan School of Music, and Rice University, among others.
He is on the faculty at La Sierra University as well as the vice president of the Southwestern Youth Music Festival, and regional co-director of the Elite International Music Competition.
