BO LI
SOUND ARTIST
Bo Li is a visiting artist at Arizona State University specializing in sound design. He works with a Hollywood sound designer on feature films, and is a partner of a China plugins retail company, building his own games. Bo also works for Chinese game audio company as a content creator.
Based in LA, and Beijing, Bo is a sound designer focusing on wave energy possibility, human sensations, and subjective post-processing audio. He holds an MFA degree in Sound Design from California Institute of the Arts where he received a Lillian Disney Full Scholarship for three years. Luckily, very early in his freelancing career, his designs received some attention from different organizations worldwide. Bo won the third prize in the Berlin International Sound Design Competition, a silver prize at the China Sound Academy Award, and two bronze awards at the Beijing International Electronic Music Festival. From interactive media sound to film sound, he uses his experience to help clients create the perfect sonic experience for each project.
